Timber Decking

Timber Decking

There is so much variety when it comes to timber decking, from anti-slip, to reversible timber decking and the classic Cedar or Thermowood decking. Whichever you choose, they all have a few things in common, sustainability, beauty and the wonderful health benefits of nature. Incorporating timber into our daily lives is proven to lift mood and ease stress. Not to mention all our timber decking options provide a wonderful, warm feeling underfoot, creating a seamless transition from inside to outside.

Reversible Timber Decking

For ultimate customisation, reversible decking is available in grooved, reeded and smooth options, ideal for whatever the purpose of your decking, and offering overall variety in appearance. Our reversible decking is produced from high-quality European Redwood and can be treated with our VTX preservative for that extra level of defence against rot and fungal decay.

As the name suggests, our reversible decking is double sided, beaded on one side and smooth on the other, providing maximum freedom and creativity when it comes to laying the decking.

Thermowood® Decking

Thermowood® decking offers the best of both worlds – beauty and durability. The inviting warm tones may resemble hardwood, but Thermowood® is made from Scandinavian softwood. Undergoing a chemical-free heat treatment, reaching temperatures of 212°c, creates extra stability, removing the moisture content to almost nothing.

The environmentally friendly thermal modification also provides Thermowood® with a natural weather resistance. This makes it the ideal, long-lasting solution for outdoor applications such as decking.

Installation is also flexible and straightforward with Thermowood® deck boards. They can be fixed with standard deck screws or clips in both face fixed and secret fixed options depending on your preference.

Maintaining Thermowood® decking is also really simple. Regular cleaning with a mild detergent is enough to extend the life of your timber. To maintain the rich colour, treat the Thermowood® annually with a deck oil or standard preservative deck treatment.

Anti-slip Timber Decking

Looking for that extra bit of safety for family and friends, especially those little feet, with your decking? Our anti-slip timber decking offers exactly that and is available with or without anti-slip strips inserted. Timber decking can easily develop algae and moss when exposed to damp or wet weather. Anti-slip decking offers reassurance thanks to a reduced risk of slipping and potential injury.

Timber Decking with Anti-Slip Strips

This innovative product is produced from high quality European Redwood. Anti-slip strips are inserted into the grooves of the timber to enhance the safety of your decking, even in those wetter months.

Anti-slip technology can also be used in other areas of increased risk such as steps or walkways. The anti-slip strips are hardwearing making them ideal for anything from your garden decking or commercial sites with high levels of footfall. The strips won’t deteriorate over time, providing a better performance than anti-slip solutions such as abrasive paints.
