This project is the first of its kind due to how much timber it uses both structurally and internally, it’s highly eco-friendly design and of course, its solar manipulating timber fins. Run by the serviced office company, The Office Group, everything down to the furniture is made of wood!
The facades’ striking, vertical timber louvres provide a second skin to the building, helping to protect the structure from solar radiation, conserve energy and optimise the flow of natural light whilst drawing heat into the workspace. The timber fins change in depth as they ascend the building, allowing them to manipulate the sun to the building’s benefit whilst reducing its carbon footprint.
