Cape Cod timber cladding is pre-coated, using Canadian Lodge Pole Pine. Eliminating unnecessary application of coatings on site, this product is sealed on all sides applying the finest finish available; PPG Machine Applied Coating, which is a 100% acrylic, breathable water-based paint.
This top-quality finish is applied under strictly controlled factory conditions ensuring that the required thickness is applied over the entire surface of the timber. This system produces a uniform finish and maximum protection that cannot be achieved with field applied paint.
From traditional horizontal rebated bevel, to vertical board and batten, or sleek modern Euro channel, a wide range of profile options are available to complement your home’s design and your personal taste. Trims and accessories add beautiful architectural detail to your home.
Semi-transparent colours vary form our Cape Cod solid colours in that they aim to offer the same protection against weathering yet with a more natural, woody appearance. A wide range of standard colours are available, based on the beautiful variations found in natural timber. Find the colour chart, here. All coatings are applied as a two coat, 100% acrylic system on five sides and one coat on the back.

Cape Cod timber cladding has a fine sawn finish prior to paint application, this is for the adhesion of the paint system, ensuring long term performance.

Fixings
Stainless Steel fixings are recommended, reducing the opportunity for any extractives or tannins from the timber to react with the fixing. Either screws, or nails are suitable, this will be led by the requirements for your specific project.
We provide full fixing and installation information including batten specification, as an overview the following guidance should be met:
Nail or screw dimensions should be relative to the thickness of the board you are installing and be able to adequately secure the cladding. Annular ring shank fixings are recommended for softwood cladding:

Our current leads times:

Is there a minimum order requirement?
We can produce from 1LM, to 10,000LM, however on smaller volumes there may be additional machine set up charges applied, if you have a small enquiry, please get in touch as we may be able to offer a stock product option for you.
