This image illustrates what can happen on north, east, or other shaded aspects of any building. All timbers can get such surface moulds but because Accoya is light in colour they are more obvious. Whilst Accoya is highly resistant to decay and very stable if used uncoated, this aesthetic effect is why we recommend the use of coatings. |
